Blog Features on Book Marketing Buzz & Idle Hands

I was featured in an interview on Book Marketing Buzz Blog and reviewed by Idle Hands, with both pieces exploring ideas that go beyond storytelling and into the future we are actively shaping. Outbound: Meta Mars isn’t just another science fiction novel—it’s a reflection on where humanity might go next and what we need to understand about ourselves along the way.

In the Book Marketing Buzz Blog interview, I talked about how the journey from writing my first nonfiction book, The Evolution of Life: Big Bang to Space Colonies, naturally led to the creation of the Outbound series. Faced with an era marked by scientific uncertainty and social upheaval, I found myself asking a central question: What happens when the challenges we face on Earth push us to extend our reach into the cosmos?

The Idle Hands review focuses on how Outbound: Meta Mars engages with real-world concerns—rapid technological growth, environmental stress, and increasing questions around artificial intelligence, identity, and coexistence. These aren’t just themes of a story; they reflect the world we are living in now and the paths we may soon face. The novel examines how humans and sentient artificial beings might navigate unity and conflict in a future beyond Earth.

This isn’t simply a science fiction story about endings. It’s also a story of exploration, discovery, and the enduring human drive to understand what it means to be human in the midst of change.

I’m deeply grateful to Book Marketing Buzz Blog for the interview and to Idle Hands for the thoughtful review and support of the book.
